Connecting People

The vision of the ministry is "to connect people and resources in academic, church and business communities in the United States with those in Latin America".

Simply stated, it is the growing of an ever-expanding circle of people that have a heart of service for the people in Latin America. The purpose of connecting people and resources is to transform lives through long-term relationships.

Amistad Foundation connects people and expands the circle here in the USA with those in Latin America by several methods:

1.  Development and leadership of mission teams to Latin America as a means of expanding the circle of working participants in these countries.

2.  Developing and conducting business seminars that will connect people of influence with needs in their local community, with the ultimate goal of teaching servant leadership and biblical ethics as a means to motivate people of influence to action.

3.  Conducting exposure trips to introduce additional people with resources to the opportunities available to serve the people of Latin America, the idea of exposing people to ministries that might have special meaning to them and move them to take the lead in serving and leading others in developing this ministry.

4.  Developing partnerships with local churches in the USA with ministry partners and other churches in Latin America.

5.  Expanding the circle of supporters needed for funding the ministry.

6.  Networking with people interested in the ministry to educate them on the opportunities, which are available and the ways with which they can become involved.
